PR pro apologizes for tying pitch to London riots
Moral: Don’t make light of riot-torn city with a pitch about a fashion event.
The blog Fashionista received the following pitch:
Last night while rioting ensued on the streets of London – Tom Stubbs caused a riot of his own with editors and guests at Parlor for the launch of INC’s Editor at Large campaign.
In case you’ve been vacationing on the moon the past week, riots have torn through London and other cities in the U.K.
Fashionista‘s Leah Chernikoff had this to say about the pitch: “Blech.”
