PR pro quits job in Manhattan to open furniture store in Jersey
Not satisfied with your job? Neither was PR pro Kristen Scalia. Three months ago, the 26-year-old Scalia quit her job at a Manhattan firm to open a store on in downtown Jersey City that sells an eclectic mix of furniture, clothing and jewelry. She opened the store with money from her life savings and maxed out credit cards.
