President Obama now writing (some of) his own tweets
He sent his first one—signed with the initials ‘B.O.’—on Father’s Day.

Ghost-tweeting, on the other hand, didn’t seem to ruffle all that many feathers.
For instance, President Obama drew little criticism when he admitted he never tweets, even though the follower count on his official feed is in the millions.
That is set to change.
Over the weekend, Obama’s reelection staff announced that the president would write his own tweets. Not all of them will come from the president—some will be written by reelection staffers—but the ones with the initials B.O., his Twitter signature, are from the commander in chief.
On Sunday, the president tweeted this Father’s Day message:
