Gini Dietrich is the founder and chief executive officer of Arment Dietrich, Inc., a Chicago-based integrated marketing communications firm. She also is the founder, CEO, and author of Spin Sucks, host of the Spin Sucks podcast,and author of Spin Sucks (the book). She is the co-author of Marketing in the Round, co-host of Inside PR, and co-host of the Agency Leadership podcast. She also created the PESO Model© and launched the PESO Model Certification© with the S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications at Syracuse University.

As CEO, Gini works with C-level executives on using online technology to develop and foster relationships for better and more efficient communication. Her team works to develop strategies that build communities, generate leads, cultivate those leads, and convert them...all while tying efforts to increased revenues, shortened sales cycles, and/or improved margins. She is a highly sought-after speaker on the topics of social media, integrated marketing communications, public relations, and business growth via the web. Her expertise includes reputation management, crisis communications, social media, lead generation, content marketing, community development and engagement, and public relations. She has experience in food, agriculture, insurance, health and wellness, pharmaceutical, technology, and manufacturing.

Gini has developed, implemented, and led campaigns for a long list of internationally recognized brands, including GE, IBM, Ocean Spray, Kellogg’s, The Catfish Institute, Novartis, Vistage, Siemens and more. Actively engaged in social media and blogging since 2006, Gini has advised many clients on how to incorporate digital media into a larger—and integrated—marketing program. Prior to opening Arment Dietrich, Gini worked for Rhea & Kaiser, an advertising agency in Chicago, to build their PR department and integrated the disciplines under one roof. Before moving to Chicago, Gini worked at Fleishman-Hillard in Kansas City, where she led multi-million dollar accounts, including lobbying, regulatory, and highly sensitive crisis communications. Gini and her firm have won countless awards from PRSA, IABC, PR News, and her work in the digital space has created the opportunity for her to be named one of the top PR professionals in the world.

Gini is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., where she was the sole recipient of the Peter Kiewit four-year academic scholarship. She is a past president of PRSA Chicago, has served on the board of Counselor’s Academy, and currently serves on the board of three business organizations.
