Red Robin brews up new beer milkshake ahead of Oktoberfest
Say it with me now: ‘Red Robin—yummm!’ Plus, white lies of SEO, a Tumblr for singles, nightmare clients, Glenn Beck returns, useless things we learned in school, the importance of corporate culture, and more.
Break out your lederhosen. Oktoberfest is coming early to Red Robin restaurants, thanks to its new Samuel Adams beer milkshake. Ordinarily, I push flip-flop weather to the brink of the season—holding on to every last ounce of Summer Shandy I can consume—but if the onset of fall means downing one of these bad boys, by all means, consider it jacket weather. I wonder whether Red Robin is open to the idea of BYOB—a pumpkin ale milkshake sounds awesome.
Of course, the family-friendly eatery isn’t the only restaurant brewing up something special in the kitchen. Smashburger, T.G.I. Friday’s, Sonic, and Burger King have all attempted to work alcohol into their menus, although proper licensing has proved problematic for Burger King.
Content has long been revered as the king of marketing, but Search Engine Watch‘s Guillaume Bouchard suggests this could be one of many white lies that SEO marketers tell themselves.
