Report: Communications is the worst major for ROI

Marketing and English offer students the best bang for their buck, according to Salary.com.

The return on investment (ROI) for your four-year degree is awfully poor.

At least that’s what a Salary.com report says.

A recent article on the site listed the worst college majors for earning an ROI on a college degree. Communications made the dubious list.

According to Salary.com:

“You’d think the ink-stained newsrooms and TV studios are full of wealthy and famous journalists.”

For the record, no one has ever associated ink-stained journalists with wealth.
