Report says Facebook lost 6 million U.S. users last month

New data suggest these journalists should take another crack at it.

According to data from Inside Facebook Gold, the social network lost nearly 6 million users in the United States, falling to 149.4 million at the beginning of June from 155.2 million at the start of May. Facebook also lost about 1.5 million users in Canada.

A “person close to the company” told Inside Facebook that the site is “still growing in the U.S.”
