RIM CEO abruptly—and angrily—ends interview

Never a good thing when a PR pro interrupts a conversation with the media.

Research in Motion, or RIM, makes the BlackBerry.

Well, he’s at it again, only this time more dramatically.

In a recent taped interview, the BBC’s Rory Cellan-Jones asked Lazaridis:

“Can I move on to the problems you’ve had in terms of security, and there’s arguments with the Indian government, and a number of governments in the Middle East, is that anywhere near being sorted out?”

Gasp.

You can see the video at the BBC of what happens next, but here’s a blow-by-blow.

Off-camera, a PR professional is heard saying they’re out of time, while Lazaridis shakes his head and says, “That’s just not fair, Rory.”
