The emerging sharing economy is making the old models of doing things, like hailing a cab or booking an overpriced hotel room, obsolete. And the soon-to-be-obsolete don’t like it one bit.
Enter the “Share Better” campaign, which is led by New York-based housing activists, hoteliers and politicians that are raging against Airbnb.
First, it’s great publicity for Airbnb. Nothing says, “You’re doing a great job” quite like a coalition being formed to stop you from doing such a great job.
