Should journalists find their sources and story ideas on Twitter?
The Washington Post points out that when big events occur the media flocks to Twitter. Regular people, not so much.
The event generated significant traffic on Twitter (more than Osama bin Laden’s death, according to The Telegraph). But has it really become the go-to source of breaking news for the general public?
