Social media campaign targets door-to-door salespeople

It seems a battle between old school and new school marketing is playing out in Canada. “A campaign imploring consumers to ignore door-to-door salespeople is part of a social media campaign set up by a water heater rental company to challenge their competitors,” reports CBC . The “Ignore the Door” campaign was launched last month by Consumers’ Waterheater Income Fund and features YouTube videos, a Facebook page, and a website.
