Study: Big brands are ignoring Latino audiences on social media sites

A study from Hispanic-focused agency, Orci, said that 78 percent of Fortune 1000 companies are not using social media Web sites to market to Latinos. According to Hector Orci, co-founder of the Los Angeles-based firm, 80 percent of Hispanics use social media sites. They total $1 trillion in buying power, he said.
