When was the last time you invested in training for your team or for yourself?
In a study from Clutch, half of respondents said it had been over a year since their employer offered training.
However, the study also says that employees want the training and that these programs are likely to lead to increased job satisfaction.
Experts believe that job retraining allows companies to improve their overall direction by improving employee retention and maximizing worker output.
“[Companies] have not been able to say why people stay, why people go, what makes them succeed,” said Joe Carella, Assistant Dean for Executive Education at the Eller College of Management(link is external) at the University of Arizona.
