Study: For some millennials, Internet is as important as air, water, and food

More than half of young people who responded to this Cisco survey said they couldn’t live without the Web.

The answer is yes, according to one third of college students and young professionals. A Cisco study reveals that these students consider the Internet to be as important as air, water, food and shelter.

The 2011 Cisco Connected World Technology Report also shows that more than half of the respondents don’t believe they could live without the Web and deem it “an integral part of their lives.”
