Study: More people ‘like’ local businesses online than write reviews

Yet they’re more likely to read a review than check out a company on Facebook, the study said.

Chances are you’ve been “liking” more often than writing reviews.

A study by CityGrid Media and Harris Interactive found that one-fifth of adults “like” a local business they enjoy, compared with 13 percent who write a review.
