Study: The less you tweet, the more followers you get

At least that’s what a recent Pew study found. According to the study, media outlets that tweet less gain the most followers.

That’s the gist of a recent Pew study, which revealed that the media outlets gaining the most followers were the ones that tweeted less.

During one sample week, Fox News, which tweeted only 48 times, showed a higher follower growth rate (118 percent) than any of the other 13 news outlets that were studied.

Similarly, MSNBC, which had a growth rate of 86 percent, tweeted only 33 times.
