Study: Time spent on digital news outpacing that of print

The study, which polled news readers in France, underscores the shift in media consumption.

In May, Havas Media tapped polling company CSA to survey 600 people who read 20 major French daily and weekly national publications.

(Those who would like to dismiss the study as being a little too French needn’t worry. According to The Guardian, “Because the French rate of ownership for digital devices is comparable to what happens in other markets, the survey’s findings can be safely extrapolated outside of France.”)
