Survey: Most execs are not using social media internally or externally

Seems the social media revolution hasn’t fully reached the C-suite. A new study by the International Association of Business Communicators found that 60 percent of top executives do not participate in social media internally, while 62 percent aren’t using it for external reasons. The study also found that fewer than half the organizations surveyed have social media policies, while roughly half fail to measure the effectiveness of social media.
