Target, Wal-Mart brand veggies hit by recall
Listeria is to blame for another round of frozen food recalls. This time, two well-known retailers are involved. Here’s what to avoid, and how communicators alerted the public.

Another major recall has hit the packaged food industry due to listeria contamination.
National Frozen Food Corp. is the latest to issue a recall, which includes Bountiful Harvest, Wal-Mart’s Great Value, Live Smart, Target’s Market Pantry and Sprouts Farmers Market brands.
National Frozen Food Corp. joins CRF Frozen Foods as the second major provider to face a listeria scare. CRF issued a major recall earlier this year after two deaths and eight illnesses were linked to its products.
