A report this week said Twitter is the fastest growing social network globally. With more than 200,000 million active users, the social network remains one of the go-to social media platforms for individuals and brands.

Of course, as with any other social site, Twitter requires your time and effort to be successful. The platform has its own language consisting of hashtags and abbreviations—and, of course, the 140-character limit, which forces brevity.
