LinkedIn had a big month, but it still has fewer members than MySpace. That’s right—MySpace. See where both sites falls among the top social networks.
According to Bloomberg, which cited comScore’s data, LinkedIn attracted 6.7 percent more users in May, boosting its U.S. user base to 33.4 million. Bloomberg speculated that the increase came as a result of LinkedIn becoming the first social network to hold an initial public offering (IPO).
Despite the gains, LinkedIn remains No. 3 on the list of social networks with the most U.S. users. According to comScore, the top four are:
