OK, maybe they didn’t use that term, but you get the point: Only a few years, social media was up for debate in the business world.
Today, it’s an essential part of almost any successful PR and marketing program.
That’ not lip service on our part—we’ve seen it. The hundreds of entries to PR Daily’s first-ever Digital PR & Social Media Awards pulled back the curtain on the large number of social media campaigns and, perhaps more importantly, the quality of these efforts.
There’s some amazing stuff happening in the digital world, whether it’s from in-house communication departments or PR and marketing agencies of all sizes.
But we had to whittle down the entries to a select group of finalists. And so, we’re honored to share the finalists in the Digital PR & Social Media Awards 2012.
