What is getting some love? Tech gadgets. If you’re looking for that sexy gift this year, don’t overlook just how erogenous technology can be. Don’t believe us? “Saturday Night Live” proves otherwise. (Careful, possibly NSFW.)
UltraViolet, an innovative cloud-storage service, hopes you find it sexy. The technology allows someone to buy a movie and watch it anywhere. Backed by most major studios that hope to move shoppers away from renting, insiders such as Warner Home Entertainment president Kevin Tsujihara believes they “must move consumers in mass numbers toward collecting movies digitally, and this is the path.”
Warner Bros. also believes the path to a good flick is building it, and an animated-live action motion picture centered on Legos is its next trick. I’d rather build a fortress with my Legos, but the movie has my attention. Talk about product placement.
