Seems MTV had better luck with its focus groups of millennials and what they’re looking for in entertainment as the network gives itself a makeover.

Despite its demographic testing, not a single MTV program found its way onto the list(s) of the most buzzed-about fall shows according to social media … according to Advertising Age … according to Nielsen, Trendrr.tv, and GetGlue. In fact, CBS and ABC dominated the field.

And while some new shows are just building their audiences, a TV classic might be bulldozing its own. Seems a money dispute could bring about the end of “The Simpsons,” currently in its 23rd season.
