Occupy Wall Street protesters just want economic equality, and if they keep fundraising, they might just even the playing field. NPR reports that the movement has already brought in $300,000, as well as storage space and supplies. Guess if money really does talk, we’ll be hearing even more of what this group has to say.

As for the middle class, while it is more diverse and harder working than ever, its consumer base is still shrinking, something that marketers must adjust to.

Perhaps Amazon will publish a book to help marketers better reach the sundry audience. Oh, what—you didn’t hear? The online retailer rattled the book world by announcing that it’s sidestepping publishers and signing writers to produce 122 books—physical copies and ebooks—this fall.
