Having kicked off yesterday’s column with ESPN’s “What if Michael Vick were white?” story yesterday, we decided not to lead #TheDailySpin with a similar topic two days in a row—and not before the weekend. However, Vogue Italia does warrant a “What were they thinking?” of their own after running a story on what it deemed “Slave Earrings.” The magazine did apologize for a translation problem, but the magazine’s editor didn’t really make things any better.
