Speaking of comic books, there are bound to be countless Batmans and Spidermans roaming the streets come Halloween, but in the name of all that in scary, Google+ is offering a way to spook-up those profile pictures. It’s also a way for the social network to promote its photo editing tools, as well as itself.
If that doesn’t work, Google+, you can always try the tollbooth. It’s a surprising hit with advertisers.
For hits of another kind, plenty were thrown in a Starbucks where coffee wasn’t the only thing brewing. A turf war between the notorious Hells Angels and rival motorcycle gang the Vagos stemming from a feud last year at one of the café’s Santa Cruz locations has spurred what’s being called the worst California biker feud in a decade.
