U.K.-based Peppermint PR, meanwhile, has its own 126.6-meter allotment garden, where the agency says it “swaps press releases for pitchforks” to hold brainstorming sessions once or twice a week. The garden has a greenhouse and a shed. According to Mashable, the team grows potatoes, beans, lettuces, raspberries, zucchini, and herbs.
On its website, the agency’s account director Emma Williams said:
“Having Peppermint Patch gives us a fantastic opportunity to get out of the office and into the fresh air. It’s really therapeutic to be digging the ground with birdsong in the background and the sun on your face. We’re very lucky to be surrounded by seasoned allotment holders who are far more expert than we are and are happy to give us lots of growing tips.”
