Upset about what Trump called “unfair” questions during the Republican debate on Aug. 6, the candidate attacked Kelly the next day on CNN.

“She gets out, and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions,” Trump told CNN anchor Don Lemon. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”

Many have interpreted the remarks as a comment that Kelly was menstruating, though Trump later said he meant that blood was coming out of her eyes and nose, and an assertion like that would be “inappropriate.” He also said that anyone interpreting the comment to be in relation to menstruation was “sick.”

He refused to apologize to Kelly, saying instead, “Political correctness is killing our country.”

It amazes me that other networks seem to treat me so much better than @FoxNews. I brought them the biggest ratings in history, & I get zip!
