Twitter experiments with showing tweets by relevance

Many users criticized the social platform for discarding tweets in chronological order. The move is reminiscent of Facebook’s timeline.

A small percentage of users are now seeing tweets ordered by relevance rather than its traditional reverse chronological order. You know what other platform does that? Facebook.

Naturally, faithful users hate the experiment and the possibility that Twitter and Facebook are just becoming mirrors of one another—a trend that’s been going on for quite some time.
