Washington Post apologizes for trying to sell newspapers on Twitter
One of the paper’s Twitter feeds suggested that followers spend 75 cents on a print edition. The Twitterati didn’t like that suggestion, so the Post apologized.

On Thursday, The Washington Post‘s @PostLocal Twitter feed tweeted:
We love the RTs, but you know, you could read a lot of these stories by simply feeding 75 cents into a corner newspaper box.less than a minute ago via HootSuite Favorite Retweet Replypostlocal
