What are America’s favorite sodas, beers, and spirits?

According to a report last week from Beverage Digest, Diet Coke grabbed the No. 2 spot on the list of America’s most popular sodas—a milestone for the brand and the first time Pepsi has fallen from No. 2.

Diet Coke sold 927 million cases, compared with Pepsi’s 892 million, Beverage Digest reported.

Here are this year’s top five sodas:

1. Coca-Cola

3. Pepsi-Cola
4. Mountain Dew
5. Dr Pepper

Speaking of beverages, YouGov shared its “buzz data” on what America uses to fuel its own buzz. To determine a brand’s buzz score, YouGov asks: “If you’ve heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, was it positive or negative?”
