What do you know about Britain’s new PR chief?

Maybe the most notable thing about Craig Oliver, the new communications director at No. 10 Downing Street, is that he hasn’t worked for Rupert Murdoch.

On Wednesday, U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron announced a successor to Andy Coulson, the former communications director who resigned last month. Cameron named Craig Oliver, 41, the controller of BBC Global News, his communications chief.

Oliver is known for revamping the BBC news at 10, according to The Guardian. Cameron described Oliver as a “formidable journalist.”
