You’re most likely suffering through another scorcher. Don’t bother checking the weather forecast; chatter about the heat wave is dominating social media.
USA Today reports:
Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other online forums have already racked up more than 4 million references to hot weather this month and that number is increasing rapidly, says Joe Schab, president of Mastermind Marketing, which tracks social media chatter.
The heat is evening outperforming Justin Bieber, according to USA Today.
Meanwhile, The Washington Post is asking its readers to vote for a nickname for the heat wave.
