If so, you noticed today’s Google Doodle—that’s when the search engine recasts its logo to honor a person or event—which shows several graceful dancers.
Whom is this doodle honoring, and why?
Martha Graham, the U.S. choreographer considered the “mother of modern dance,” was born 117 years ago today. Because of her innovative approach, she is considered the Picasso of dance. The Google Doodle shows dancers performing moves that are considered Graham-esque.
