Why you should keep your press release headlines short

In terms of headlines, a report from Schwartz Communications says the shorter the better if you want your press release to appear in Google News. “Most SEO specialists suggest headline lengths of 65 to 70 characters in order to pass muster for inclusion in Google News,” says BusinessWired . “Yet 77 percent of 16,000 Business Wire press releases reviewed by Schwartz exceeded that recommendation.”
