10 reasons we’ve redesigned PR Daily

You’ve probably noticed some changes around here. Allow us to explain. (Hint: It’s all about time, and the lack of it!)

If you’re like me, you’re behind schedule before you get out of bed in the morning. You grab a cup coffee, and the race begins.

The new PR Daily recognizes this hectic, crazy life you lead. And we don’t want to be part of the problem. You still need news, how-to features, and analysis of the industry— but you need it quickly.

How we can help:

1. Our home page provides a quicker, leaner briefing of the news. Our headlines and front-page summaries let you make a five-second decision: Is this story worth reading, or should I move on?

2. We’ve included a Submit News button. It enables readers to send us news tips and links to their own blog posts and stories. Again, we’ve stressed speed and ease of use. No more searching for Managing Editor Michael Sebastian’s e-mail address. Now you can simply drop a link or message into an easy template and push send.

3. Our Tweet, Like, and LinkedIn buttons let you share your favorite stories—instantly. It takes about two seconds to send your favorite tips and breaking news to your followers and friends.

4. You can now search PR Daily archives. Looking for a story we ran last week—or last year? Well, now you can search for it.
