If you shed a few tears after George Clooney married human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin or when Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes announced the birth of their daughter, you’re not alone.

If you read and tweeted every picture and piece of information in existence regarding these two events, you might be perfect for a new job opening.

Us Weekly, a celebrity and entertainment magazine owned by Wenner Media, LLC, is looking for an assistant social media editor to assist the growing online staff in New York City.

According to the magazine’s media kit:

Us Weekly engages 40 million young, high income consumers with the most timely and current entertainment news, style, beauty and fitness/nutrition content, all through the lens of celebrity.

The position includes updating social media accounts, helping with website traffic partnerships, writing stories, and editing photos for celebrity photo galleries.

It requires some late night and weekend commitments, too. You’ll be assisting during awards shows and other breaking news events. Try not to work too hard while bumping elbows with stars on the red carpet.
