Can you hear that?
It’s the sound of Skullcandy, a Utah-based audio accessories company, seeking a senior social media manager.
If you’re getting radio silence, you might need a better pair of headphones.
Skullcandy, a brand that calls its culture “fun and irreverent,” has made audio accessories that cater to people in the sports, gaming, and music industries since 2003. They’re looking for a candidate who can voice that culture through social media.
From the company’s website:
We are looking for a savvy, influential social marketer who lives social media, loves music, breathes youth culture, follows sports and has a strong digital, PR or marketing background.
Candidates should have at least five years experience in digital media with at least three years focused in social media, and should be able to show successes in online marketing and PR campaigns.
Creativity is definitely a plus, as is the desire to hit the slopes. Not only does Skullcandy cater its products to skaters and skiers, they’re located in Park City, home of Utah Olympic Park—an official U.S. Winter Olympics training site.
