5 lessons learned from a social media project leader

Dirk Shaw, a social media strategist with OpenText, is sharing five lessons he’s learned from leading social media efforts. Here’s one of those lessons: “It’s not the job of one person,” he wrote. “For large brands simply assigning a single person to ‘own’ social media is not scalable. This is akin to saying one person can sell, market, support and build new products.”
