’80s cartoon character takes over Honda’s Twitter account

He-Man’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ villain Skeletor took control of the auto maker’s Twitter account for a day. It was magic.

If you’re like me, you probably weren’t paying attention to the Honda Twitter feed on Monday. It’s a shame, because Skelator—of the classic cartoon “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”—took over the account. Awesomeness ensued.

It was a pretty fantastic piece of nostalgia marketing for anyone who spent their holiday season wishing and hoping for “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” action figures.

A few highlights, including some good-natured brand-baiting from the #Skeletakeover:
