Stephanie Williams is a media leader with nearly 20 years of experience driving growth across print, digital, social and broadcast. Williams is the founder of La Fronde, a new newsletter covering the untold stories of women shaping media and the power, stakes, and players defining the industry. She most recently led global audience development at Condé Nast for brands like GQ, Teen Vogue, Pitchfork and them, overseeing strategy in 10 countries. Before that, she led social media at U.S. News & World Report, launching its top-performing social strategy and founding the “Racial Divide” vertical and its first diversity council. At The Washington Post, she was a features editor for Express and while at National Geographic and Warner Bros. Discovery she shaped audience strategy and programming, including Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman and the launch of Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network.
