A Christmas miracle? Twitter turned a profit in 2009

OMG! Bloomberg reported Monday that Twitter will make about $25 million from Internet-search deals with Google and Microsoft, “enough to push the site into profitability.” Twitter will make about $15 million from an agreement that makes tweets searchable on Google and another $10 million from a similar agreement with Microsoft’s Bing, Bloomberg reported. Twitter’s operating costs run between $20 million and $25 million, according to Bloomberg. The company employs 103 people. …
