Alaskan politician to leave prison—and become PR pro

Tom Anderson has been in federal prison since 2007. Upon release, he plans to join the public relations industry. Will you welcome him with open arms?

After being nabbed by the FBI on corruption charges (bribery, conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, you know, the usual) he will take a job as a “communications and PR/Campaign/Digital Media Adviser” at his dad’s PR agency in Anchorage, according to the Anchorage Daily News.

Anderson’s dad (Tom Sr.) started Optima Public Relations, which specializes in marketing and PR. The company also offers campaign and grass-roots management and consulting.
