An amazing—and brave—way to handle a negative Yelp review

There’s a reason this is one of the best restaurants in America. It’s PR is just so damn clever. The food’s pretty good, too.


Websites like Yelp have given power to the dining people, allowing users to write scathing (or shining) reviews of restaurants.

A negative review is usually nothing to be proud of—unless you’re the award-winning Chicago hotspot Longman & Eagle.

The restaurant, which was named one of Esquire’s best new restaurants of 2010, printed a lovely new postcard consisting of a particularly negative Yelp review — terible punctuation, and all.

Tables, consider yourselves turned.
