Apple: Stop using Beats Pill XL speakers
The company issued a recall of the Bluetooth speakers after discovering that the batteries could overheat and catch fire.

If 2014 was the year of the retail data breach, 2015 is shaping up to be the year of the recall.
Already, a slew of automakers, multiple ice cream companies and a flooring manufacturer—just to name a few—have issued massive recalls of products.
As of Wednesday, you can add Apple to the list. The company issued a recall of more than 200,000 Beats Pill XL Bluetooth speakers. “Apple has determined that, in rare cases, the battery in the Beats Pill XL may overheat and pose a fire safety risk,” the company’s notice reads.
