As part of its propaganda, the Taliban starts tweeting in English
The once technology-eschewing regime tweets daily with hyperbolic reports of its victories on the global battlefield.
However, on Thursday, the feed tweeted in English for the first time. Perhaps that’s why it jumped from just a couple of hundred followers to more than a thousand.
The Guardian said this Twitter feed is part of the Taliban’s impressive “public relations capability” that runs circles around NATO’s communication efforts.
