AT&T study: 41 percent of small businesses have a Facebook page

It marks a 52 percent increase from last year, when only 27 percent of local merchants were using the social network. Wait ‘til you see the stats on mobile usage.

Here’s are three key findings from the poll:

1. 72 percent said they use mobile apps for business, with 38 percent indicating they could not survive—or it would be a major challenge to survive—without mobile apps.

2. 41 percent of small businesses surveyed have a Facebook page for their business. Last year, 27 percent said they’re using the social network, which represents a 52 percent jump from last year.
