Clients come to The Narrative Group when they want to tap into current and emerging cultural trends to achieve results through influencers, media and experiential activities. For a McDonald’s project, Narrative helped promote the launch of McDelivery on UberEATS. To bolster awareness and adoption, the group came up with McDelivery Day, “a one-day global celebration of McDelivery where we surprised thousands of customers around the world with special deliveries.” Recipients also got limited edition merchandise tied to the event. The special day was covered by the likes of Cosmopolitan, TODAY, Access Hollywood, People and other top-tier outlets, earning more than 1 billion impressions. Most impressively, though, since McDelivery Day, McDonald’s has sustained an 8 percent increase in U.S. delivery guest count.
