Band queues up Craigslist for album promotion
The site is often used as a marketplace for job listings, apartment info, and selling old junk. However, Chromeo is more interested in tending to matters of new business in the ‘missed connections’ section.
The post features lyrics from the Toro y Moi-featuring first single “Come Alive”, along with album art and news of a May 12 release date. The ad was posted in Minneapolis Craigslist and lists an address identified as the First Avenue club, immortalized as the location of a handful of scenes in Prince’s Purple Rain.
